Decades of professional experience, continuous development
As the volume of tasks increased, so did the quality of work over the years.
The company has invested a significant portion of its revenue into improving service quality and making technical advancements, which has led to an increased market share for the business.
Over more than two decades, EOD-CONTROLL Kft. has facilitated the realization of numerous construction projects, making it one of the leading companies in Hungary for explosive ordnance disposal tasks, known under the name Nemes és Társa Harcieszköz-elhárító Kft.
According to the United Nations: As of June 2023, UN experts estimate that approximately 540,000 unexploded ordnance have already been defused and removed, but ensuring Ukraine’s long-term safety presents the country with a difficult and very costly challenge. According to the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), nearly 10.7 million people are in need of mine clearance services. The World Bank estimates that the full mine and ordnance clearance of Ukraine’s territory would cost over 37 billion dollars (approximately 13 trillion HUF at current exchange rates). Ukraine cannot solve this problem alone, so international partners are helping, and the UNDP has become the lead coordinator of the country’s mine clearance efforts. According to the UNDP, since World War I and II, the Ukrainian government has managed risks related to unexploded ordnance, but the current situation is unmanageable, and resolving it presents an entirely new level of complexity.
However, every company faces a time for change, and in 2023, as part of the structural formation of the EOD group, the general contracting of explosive ordnance disposal tasks previously carried out by EOD-CONTROLL Kft. was outsourced. As a result, the company now provides the following specialized services:
